SNOW CAPPED MOUNTAINS OF EXTREME NORTH KACHIN STATE

Yangon-Putao-Birding-Putao-Yangon These are the highest peaks in Southeast Asia and are a part of
Southeast Himalayan range, the highest being Mt. Kha-Ka-Borazi
(19296 ft). After a plane ride from Yangon to Putao the Northernmost
town of Myanmar, you will be enjoying the hospitality of local
tribes namely Rawan and Lesu, and the abundance of citrus fruits. It
will take about 5 days walk from Putao to reach the snow line and if
you are in good health and physical condition come join us camp and
trek in the wildest countryside left in Asia, where you will be
walking through nothing but primeval forest. DAY 01 ARRIVAL YANGON Welcome inside the terminal. Transfer and check in at the hotel.
Orientation tour Yangon if time permits. Visit the Sule Pagoda, the
Bothahtaung Pagoda. In the late afternoon, wandering around China
Town market. Overnight accommodation at the hotel in Yangon. DAY 02 HLAWGAR WILD LIFE PARK Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Hlawgar Wild life park to
observe the wild-animals. Back to Yangon and in the late afternoon,
visit Shwedagon Pagoda during the sunset time. Overnight
accommodation at the hotel in Yangon. DAY 03 FLY TO PUTAO Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for the
flight to Putao. Upon arrival, transfer and check in at the hotel.
Visit and overnight accommodation at the guesthouse. DAY 04 DRIVE TO SANGAUNG Morning, breakfast at the guesthouse. Drive to Sangaung. Birding and
overnight bungalow in Sangaung. DAY 05 WALK TO CAMP I After breakfast, walk to Camp I. Birding and overnight in Camp I. DAY 06 TO WARSARDUM After breakfast, proceed to Warsandam. Birding and overnight. DAY 07 TO ZEYARDUM Breakfast and proceed to Zeyardum. Birding and overnight. DAY 08 TO CAMP II Proceed to Camp II after breakfast. Birding and overnight. DAY 09 TO CAMP III Proceed to Camp III. Birding and overnight. DAY 10 TO CAMP IV Morning, after breakfast, proceed to Camp IV. Birding and overnight. DAY 11 BIRDING CAMP IV Birding and overnight. DAY 12 BIRDING CAMP IV Birding and overnight. DAY 13 WALK TO CAMP II After breakfast, walk to Camp II. Overnight. DAY 14 TO ZEYAR Morning, proceed to Zeyar. Overnight. DAY 15 TO WARSARDUM Morning, after breakfast, proceed to Warsardum. Overnight. DAY 16 TO CAMP I After breakfast, proceed to Camp I. Overnight. DAY 17 TO SANGAUNG Morning, after breakfast, proceed to Sangaung. Overnight. DAY 18 DRIVE TO PUTAO, FLY TO YANGON Morning, after breakfast, drive to Putao. Upon arrival, transfer to
the airport for the flight to Yangon. Transfer and check in at the
hotel. Overnight accommodation. DAY 19 DEPARTURE Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Yangon International
Airport for the departure flight.
